Local Arrangements

Workshop Venue

The workshop venue is at the University of Tübingen. The address is Wilhelmstrasse 19, room 0.02.

How to get there: Coming from the train station or from one of the hotels Domizil or Krone, take the Neckar bridge and then continue in the same direction following Mühlstrasse which (still in the same direction) becomes Wilhelmstrasse after 50 meters. Continue on Wilhelmstrasse, Number 19 is on the left after approximately 600 meters.

Walking from the Neckar bridge to the workshop venue takes approximately 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a bus on the bridge (numbers 1, 2, 6 or 7) and get off at the stop "Lothar-Meyer-Bau" (on Wilhelmstrasse). Then you have to walk back approximately 50 meters and cross the street.

Workshop Dinner

Restaurant Casino am Neckar, Wöhrdstrasse 25 (next to Hotel Domizil).

How to get there: After the Neckar bridge (this time in the direction towards Hotels Domizil and Krone and the train station), Wöhrdstrasse is the first street to the left.

Guided City Tour

On Friday at 7pm a guided city tour has been organized for TAG+9 participants and their guests. Tübingen is an old university city with a very picturesque old city center. The tour starts at the fountain on the market place and lasts approximately 1 hour.

Hotels

We have reserved some rooms with discount rates from June 5 to June 9 at two hotels, both near to each other and within 10-15 min walking distance from the workshop venue. At both hotels, the reservations are filed under the keyword "TAG+", workshop attendees can book directly at the hotels under this keyword.

Hotel Krone will hold the reservations until April 26 while Hotel Domizil will hold them until May 5. After these dates, you still get the reduced rate (if booking under keyword "TAG+9") but the rooms might be given away.
